You had better shoot the deputy because when you shot the sheriff, it was in self-defence and you will swear to it. The deputy probably is following orders from the sheriff. Shoot, or duck.

The deputy is only worth 50 points, but if you shoot him
AFTER you shoot the sheriff, the combo is worth 5000 points bonus, you get an extra man and you advance to the next level.
Your man also gets added "spliff" power.

Only if you want to serve two life sentences..... just don't do it in Texas you know how they feel about capital punishment..
