no, it is an mythical animal which is an allegory for purity. It's horn was supposed to be th best anti-poison around. Many ancient scholars, such as Aristotle. Wikipedia has an interesting article on it, with "possible" evidence of unicorn ;)
one thing which is interesting is that mythical beasts are usually a creation by humans in responses to their deep fears, but the unicorn is an exception to that rule. Also, there is a Chinese version of the unicorn, which is not a symbol of purity but wisdom

Yes and no. In the Bible, the word translated as Unicorn is "reem" in Hebrew. The "reem" is thought to be the common word "rimu" in Biblical lands. The "rimu" was an ancient wild ox that is now extinct - known to us a the Aurochs. There is no evidence of a one horned horse type creature. This comes from old Greek and Roman mythology but it would have been an interesting animal.

No, they don't exist, they're a mythological creature. There is still debate whether or not an animal like a unicorn ever existed, but there's nothing close to it around now.

On Earth? Not anymore. Unicorns, along with every other Fey creature, come from Avalon. Although there was a time that such creatures and people could cross into our realm, it is nearly impossible to do today.
