( this might be a dumb question but here goes) ok, so I have a couple of betta fish (female & male, & no they're not together) i was wondering, now that its getting colder, do I have to, or should I, move them to a warmer place? With their water getting cold, are they getting cold also?

There are no dumb questions. All fish have a preferred temp range they like. Betta's like 76-78. If your place is in the 70's all the time it'll probally be OK but a heater in the tank will keep a constant temp and your fish will like that best. Big temp fluctuations are hard on fish so if it cools off too much at night it will stress the fish. I think using a heater in all tanks is a good idea. Good luck, Peter.

all of those solutions are poor a million. 3 litres is thanks to small are you able to no longer tell kind searching on the bowl its animal cruelty. you want a minimum of 10 litres and also you ought to have had a ideal setup earlier you delivered the fish. also choose a clear out to assist save the water sparkling and a heater as bettas ARE TROPICAL FISH. 2. purely feed staple betta pellets or flake 5 cases a week and bloodworm once a week and bypass an afternoon once a week. 3. its primary they ought to bypass away 4. look after it and positioned it in a ideal aquarium.

Betta's thrive in warmer water, i generally keep my water 75-77 F. So i would move them to a warmer place for sure, you will notice a decrease in their movement and activity over time, it's because the cool water makes them cold, therefor they stiffen up.

As long as the temperature stays above 70, your fish should be okay. If the temperature dips down into the sixties, they have cheap aquarium heaters at walmart, they are for 2-5 gallon tanks, and they cost about $6.

Yes you should move them to a warmer place unless you want them to die, the water has to be at room temperature. if it gets to cold the fish will freeze and if it gets to warm well i guess its fish for lunch.

Of course they are. Just guard against them freezing, I would believe that below 60 would be fatal, just a guess. Keep in a room that stays comfortable to you will be fine for them. ?;)~

They should be fine. Unless the water is freezing, they'll be okay.
