Liberal Beliefs?

What do liberals believe? I don't understand why everyone is so strongly against them. It's like there are maybe 10 of them in the world so everyone can be against what they believe. Everytime someone says somthing, no matter what it has to do with, it goes back to the stupid liberals...

You got a lot of Republican and Conservative answers, that obviously are not accurate...Liberals in the US-not the actual definition of Liberal are people who agree with preserving everyone's rights as American Citizens, they tend to look outside of the box and into the future- They believe everyone should have the same rights and privileges as any other Citizen, regardless of race, sex, disability, or sexual preference, they believe that we are destroying our Environment, they don't believe our laws should be based on religion, they want a better education system, the pro-choice issue, everyone is different on that- I'm pro-choice for the women that have to have abortions, for the rape victims, for the incest victims, and to prevent newborn babies in dumpsters - instead of looking at it as murder for any reason at all, etc... misconceptions about Liberals- they don't care about the US or security, untrue.. they just don't like this war in Iraq, they do support Wars with causes, they hate everything that the US stands for, untrue, they want to preserve what this country was originally based on, they support illegal immigrant ion, untrue, most do not
All Liberals want is for this country to be a great country, the country they know it can be...
Liberal is more for the people
Conservative is more for religion

The one defining characteristic of liberals is that they work tirelessly to block western governments from intervening in genocide. They've been doing this since world war II. This isn't the only horrible crime they are involved with, but it is the most serious. For example, liberal judges appointed by Clinton (specifically for this type of thing rather than to act as legitimate judges) recently blocked the freezing of funds for several organizations that have been proven to use those funds for terrorism.

Liberals engage in such behavior on a large scale and aren't exactly subtle about it. Go to a "peace rally" sometime and look around. What you will see are large numbers of people carrying signs that say "Death to America" "Death to Israel" "Kill George Bush" and similar messages. There is widespread pro-terrorist sentiment being expressed and the people running the show are wearing t-shirts emblazoned with north korea's flag, swastikas and other crazy ****. Recently, that nutjob Cindy Sheehan went to South Korea to express a strongly pro-North Korean message to the people there and tell them not to cooperate with americans in attempting to foil that countries nuclear weapons ambitions.

And you have to ask what the problem people have with liberals is?

obviously you have had a couple of republicans answer... Liberals want to help people so that they can help themselves, they believe in preserving our rights instead of limiting them and although they do support the War on Terror, they do not believe Iraq to be a part of that war and believe we have no business there.. and it's only the republicans (and there are lots of the flaming neocons on this site) that use the terminology "stupid liberals" and use of such terminology shows their ignorance and does more to support us (by means of self-destruction on their part) than it harms us.

They believe in anything that goes against the United States. They hate the president, they hate our troops, they hate what the flag stands for, liberals are just immoral people who stand for nothing except killing unborn babies and immoral behavior
