Maybe you should try one of those little beanie hats with the propellor on top...If you get it spinning pretty fast, I'd bet you could get a few more inches on your vertical and a hell of lot more hang time

It is a common misconception that jumping power comes from your legs. The majority of it comes from your abs. Do a lot of ab exercises and calf raises. You don't need to spend money on the shoes, stand with your toes on the edge of a step and your heels hanging off. Lift up on your tip toes try 3 sets of 20 to get started. For ab workout I don't like situps cause it strains your back. Put your butt on the edge of a bed, lay back so your legs & half your butt are hanging off the bed, put your legs straight out so your body is a stragiht line and lift your legs up to a 90 degree angle while pointing your toes. I usually hang on top the other edge of the bed with my hands so I don't slide off. Start at 3 sets of 12 for this. By spring time you will be throwing down

I will say to you what I've said to others who wished for this - If all you want to do is impress people for the moment, then work yourself silly until you can dunk. But, if you want them to remember you forever, then win a championship - district, regional or state.

Strengthen your abs as previously suggested. I gained several inches by just placing my back on a wall and lowering to a sitting position and maintaining it for as long as possible. Simple, but effective for me in the past.

Stretch stretch and stretch some extra. I propose you bypass on your stairs on your place and stand on the fringe of them and do up and downs with your calves. whenever you bypass up the stairs stop and to thirty. i don't understand in case you will have the potential to dunk, yet I gurantee you will enhance your vertical.

Buy cheap leg weights from K-Mart. They should be about 10 bucks. In no time, you'll be flying high in the sky.
