Do you mean 2000 times the mass? Sounds like a proton. An electron has a mass of 9.109 x 10^-31 kg while a proton has a mass of 1.673 x 10^-27 kg, about 1837 times as great. An electron has a negative charge and a proton has a positive charge. Despite the difference in mass, the electrical charges are equal in magnitude.
