My last period was in the middle of Oct. and it is now the end of Nov. and still no period. I went threw a lot of stess at the end of Sept and begining of Oct so I don't think that would effect my Nov. period since I had my Oct period after that stress was over. I was on the patch, but haven't been using it for the last month. I had sex with my husband a few times a week after my Oct period, but I don't know the dates. Could I be pregnant???

Even on the patch anytime you have unprotected sex you can get pregnant. I would say your best bet is to take a pregnancy test either from home or at the doctors. It certainly sounds like you could be pregnant.

This is a very normal situation that happens all the time! Of course, the two possibilities are: 1.) you are pregnant 2.) your body is adjusting to the lack of birth control hormone.

The best way to tell is to take a home pregnancy test. Take the test first thing in the morning. The pregnancy hormone (if present) is at its highest concentration when you first wake up. I recommend either First Response Early Detection or Answer Early as they detect the hormone at its lowest levels - and they have been most reliable for us!

If your result is still negative and you are still concerned, the next step is your doctor's office and a blood test or two. Not only could you be pregnant, but there are other gynecological problems that could cause a late pregnancy.

Either way, good luck to you and your husband!

Quite possibly!!! Nothing is 100% effective except for abstinence. If it's been that long, you can go buy a home pregnancy test and it'll let you know! Or, there are TONS of clinics that'll run FREE blood tests. I'd say you are pregnant, but you'll have to take a test to make sure! If you are, you are already a little while along, so make sure and get into a prenatal exam as soon as possible. Your first one should be by your 13th week, GOOD LUCK!!! And CONGRATS!!!
