I thought mine was....and I almost did.
The first thing I do in the morning is get on my computer.
This morning I sat down and saw big white thing on screen that said something like "internet connection no longer exists." My heart starting pounding....my mouth went dry....I could barely manage to dial COMCASTS number on the phone. I flubbed the first call due to my panic induced clumsiness. I looked at modem....all lights were blinking. Restarted Computer. Everything OK. I called COMCAST anyway. My Bill is only 107 bucks. I can pay that on payday. Everythings cool. But did I ever get in a twist over it. I am calmer now.

HAHAHAAA YEP! every time! Lol Fkn Comcast You described me every few months perfectly, when I realize "crap I forgot to pay the bill" or "CRAP. did I forget to pay the bill"
the good thing about comcast If you go in (pay center) you could probably get away with paying a small percentage of your bill in till you get payed, Ive done this gave em like 40 bucks just to be back on! (I'm so ghetto! lol) but hey if your Internet is part of your daily, you know! good luck

YES i would totoally freak. a couple of monthes ago my modem went weird on me anyway to cut a long story short it turned out my microfilter/splitter was faulty so I put in a new one and so far so good, but at the time it took me hours to sort out with my isp.In fact only a while ago I went on internet scrolling through my bookmarks to get on here and comp just went off and came back on again ran the usuall checks on probs so don't know what happened.Computers are great until they go wrong and then they are the devil reborn lol.Glad you have calmed down nice to know I'm not the only one who flaps when things go wrong.

Yes, yes I would. If your modem isn't connecting then unplug it for abot 3 minutes and replug it. That restarts the modem, try not to restart the computer.

No, I wouldn't freak out. Sometimes it's nice to be away from the computer, although it's annoying when it cuts out and you're trying to do something!

It's not that big of a deal. Just call the company and see what the problem is.
