my docter told me to give my baby apple juice to help him go to the bathroom (poop) i have been since he was 3weeks is there any thing elsa i can give him?

constipation in babies is usually a sign of dehydration. Try putting him on pedialyte every other bottle for one day. This will help flush the bowels and keep his electrolyte balance normal. Or just try plain old water in between feedings.

Bananas and rice cereal will worsen the problem. Breast fed babies rarely get constipated. Formula could be the problem. If you are breast feeding try to get more breast milk into your little one. If you are formula feeding, you may want to consider switching formula.
More liquid should help. If you go the apple juice route, water it down 50-50.

When our son was a few months old (now he's 9 months old), his bowel movements weren't regular, and he seemed like he was straining when he went. We tried 2 tsp. (total), a day of dark kero syrup mixed in his bottles through-out the day. It seemed to work as he got back on track pretty well. I believe it is the molasses in the dark kero that helps this work. Though we did try light kero syrup too.

Give him Gerber Baby food made of Prunes. I started both of my kids on solid food at 3 mo. It made them sleep through the night quicker.

a little bit of prune juice, if he is 3 mo why not try fruits and veggies they are great for makin poop happen. no bananas cuz they bind

Do you mean to make him poop? I don't know.
But if you are giving him apple juice you could most likely give him applesauce baby food. He is also old enough to start having rice cereal. you can get rice cereal with apples in it. You can also get it with bananas in it, then feed him banana baby food.
He will do fine.
