I want to pick up some tips on drumming at an intermediate level. Does anyone know any good sites with free tips and lessons?

They have a great drum clinic section with downloadable videos and tabs. Which includes many tips from the worlds top drummers and its quite simple to use.
Great biographies of some of the greatest drummers to play too. Along with videos and mp3s of their work.

Buy a drum machine and Practice. Keep the same beat is the hardest thing to do. Do that and everthing will come natural.

i do not imagine your going to "how you may play drums" from the internet. Your proper guess is to get an instructor. I had one in the starting up. seem at my. decrease back up drummer for most bands.
