No, they'll just blame Bush and say we had it coming for the "illegal" war in Iraq, you can't win when it comes to liberalism

Who's "us?" Last time I looked all Americans counted. This tiresome game of labeling liberals as being soft on terrorism is ignorant. I'm not even a liberal and I'm sick of this offensive smear campaign suggesting liberals a) don't love their country quite as much as conservatives b) support terrorism c) wouldn't fight to protect their country. It's stupid. I'm not much for the far left, but I do know that we all stood together in horror and grief on 9/11. No one was standing around asking whether their neighbor was liberal or conservative. Liberals weren't protesting when Bush went after the terrorists in Afghanistan. They started protesting when he abandoned that very important goal in favor of attacking Hussein. The upshot? The terrorists weren't in Iraq when he went in (he's even acknowledged that himself), but they are sure there now thanks to Bush blowing the country wide open. If he were making any progress over there the liberals might not be screaming foul. But he isn't, and they are, and they have every right to do so. You need to remember that it wasn't liberals who gave the majority to the Democrats in November, it was the moderates like myself. And this sort of slanderous tripe is one of the reasons why we stopped trusting Republicans to do anything but sit on their hands while our soldiers are dying over there. I don't think liberals are going to solve the problem, but we already know the far right conservatives can't either. All you do is attack each other. So you two groups of chattering mud-slingers need to stop and start listening to the moderates, who are sick of you both being all talk and no action.

Again with the black and white pictures.
If someone says they don't like tomato sauce, does that mean they MUST despise every tomato-related product? No. It means they don't like tomato sauce. It's the same thing with Bush and the Iraq war - people think Bush has led the US and its allies into an unwinnable war, based on a lie, that the slaughter in Iraq is pointless. This does not mean that they support the insurgency - to do so is ridiculous. It means that they want to stop people dying needlessly.
Bush's approval rating skyrocketed after 9/11. This means that in times of crisis people will support their leaders (well, perhaps not so much now, but Bush has made his bed of untrustworthyness so he shall lie in it) - until such time as the evidence points that they have lied to us and made stupid decisions in our name.

So, let me get this straight, if you are a Liberal, you are not an American? You must be a Republican!! With a short memory I might add. Think back to 911, nearly every American regardless of political affiliation, supported Bush, and united together during the ensuing weeks. Sadly enough, attitudes like yours have been part of the corrosion of that "United" feeling we shared during that horrble time in our history.

Oh they've already joined in with the enemy and for those who's minds might change when it happens and trust there won't be many it will be to late for them and for us. They want this new Terror Television in now. I'd like to think it isn't to late for America and I believe that they won't win but I don't think our country will ever be the same at this point. It's to bad cause I blame the media as the chief cause of this movement backed up by Hollywood. Then I put a lot of the responsibility on people who believe everything they read and hear w/o researching it. It's really hard to think of liberals who are against this country as Americans.

This question is vague, and that's just one problem with it. Based on the fact that you were one of the sheep that put Saddam before the person who attacked us, yes, there will be hostility put before you. But if you mean attacking the United States, hell no. They will, once again, state how we need to deal with Osama bin Laden, except now that the Congress is controlled by the Democrats, we just might concern ourselves with our attacker.

If you think that our country is open to another attack, you must also think that President Bush has failed in his duty to keep us safe. This type of logic is flawed.

Everyone on here cracks me up... you guys talk about Liberals and Democrats like they are totally against war, just because they are not happy with the war in Iraq... if you recall the majority of the country was FOR the war in Afghanistan and also FOR the war in Iraq when it first started.... the majority of the country is not Republicans or Conservatives... so don't assume you know things about people...because you know what happens when you assume

Liberals, most Democrats, Hollywood, and the News Media, will all side with our enemies as usual.
More and more of the above groups are starting to say that we "deserved" 9/11 because we have too much money and are causing Global Warming with our cars.

I find it fascinating that your idea of "being Americans one and all" means all of us agreeing with you.
That does't actually sound very American at all.
