Bud - Humans are separate from other mammals and animals in that we can perceive time and space; in other words past, present and future. Where ever we came from and who ever created us, we are the caretakers of our world...of which we do a poor job. Yet, among us are some very good people who truly care about the world and the people in it. I hope that helps. GBU

Humans are animals, that is a fact. Not only are we animals but we think that we are the only animals that count. We don't know that we are the only species that is aware of time. No one truly knows what a dolphin thinks. As a matter of fact we have disconnected from the 'regular' world that we have lost some of our senses. Why is it animals can predict earthquakes and we cant. Is it because we are so self absorbed that we have lost the preception of our surroundings.
Nothing more then a carbon base life form.

capable of reproduction, communication...needs such as food, love, companionship.
multicellular...capable of both mitosis and meiosis....warm blooded....36 chromosomes....every human is different...have 5 fingers and toes on each hand/foot (ofcourse there are many exceptions!)
