There is no such thing as a mean breed or killer breed of dog, "pitbulls" I assume you mean the staffordshire are no more mean or less loving than your husky or any other breed,its all in how they are raised. Also a dogs behavior is to a large part based on your reaction to it, fear or aggression on your part,is likely to result in agression on the dogs part. Just treat them calmly and like you would your husky and youd be fine , as for a cattle prod,first of all its gonna shock whatever you touch with it same as a stun gun would ,but far less powerful, which if the dog had a hold of someone,then youll shock them as wellas the dog,tho it doesnt do much harm, secondly its not a very powerful jolt so againt a aggressive large dog,itsnot gonna do much more than piss him off more..it sounds like the major problem is your unrational fear of this dog for some reason and your prejudice that its vicious just because of its breed,so the key to solving this is for yyou to resolve your fears and prejudices and leave the dog ,that hasnt done anything to you alone.
