It is hard and only time will help you.... I know I lost a good friend in a car wreak dur to drinking... I blamed him for along time for doing what he done and causing all the pain he did.... But then I learned that hating and focusing all my anger towards him wasn't helping...... just remember the good times and the fun you had together and you will never recover but as time goes by it will become something you can live with and handle....

It will take some time. I know I am going through the same thing and each day is getting better. I just think of all the fun we had and laugh about it and it seem's to make thing's better. Keep your faith in the Lord and you will recover with no problems. Just remember you have friend's and family that will stand by you and listen to your feeling's on the death of your friend. Keep your head up and may God bless you.

There is no set time limit for this. Everyone grieves in their own way. Honestly, you may never recover, but you can find a way to deal with the pain a nd live your life. Talk to people. Your preacher, counselor, friends, family......sometimes just letting your feelings out to others helps a lot.

It varies. There is no time frame to tell when a person should stop greiving. It may take months and for some people, it takes years to recover from a death. It varies from person to person. I extend my condolences to your friend/family.

it takes awhile to get over a death of close friend. 8/05 i lost a good friend(andrea) from high school to breast cancer. she was 30 yrs old , that was really tuff and hard to deal with . then 4/06 i lost my bff(christina) to stomach cancer(she was 31) and that pretty much knocked me for a loop since i was barely over andrea. it took me a long time to feel anything for awhile. to be honest i just erased the msg from christinas hubby telling us that she had died. i still have a hard time with things when i think bout them and it is VERY hard to get close to anybody right now because all i can think about is losing them. but it gets easier each day and i think bout them alittle less each week. but if i see something on cancer and young mothers i pretty much lose it. good luck and im so sorry for your loss.

You never recover from a loss of a friend, you just learn to deal with it. My friend has been dead for 22 years and I still cry sometimes.

It varies, because people have a different way of grieving when someone so close to them passes away. Give yourself some time, and hopefully you can move forward-but importantly, never forget that special person!

You will never get over losing your friend, but eventually you will learn to live with it. Time varies with different people.

It depends on the relationship you had wit the person. Time helps even though sometimes it may not seem so.
