I don't understand why you'd go get your masters in acting unless your intent is to teach.
If your goal is academics, perhaps an emphasis on directing, writing or criticism would be more valuable.
If your goal as a career in Theater is to act -- then get out there and start doing work. Learn to audition, take technique classes in singing, acting and dancing -- don't go to college for this.
There are a lot of fine programs out there -- NorthWestern, Yale, NYU, take your pick. If you look at the bios of your favorite actors you'll find they didn't come from the same schools at all.

I used to work for several years at a talent agency in New York City which handled theater, film, commercial, etc... but mainly theater (broadway/off broadway/regional). If your goal is to be a professional theater actor, you want to end up in NYC because that is where most if not almost all of the casting for the entire country is done for theatre. Other options may include Chicago, San Fran, or Los Angeles. You want to go to the graduate school who offers the best (most widely attended) showcase for agents and casting directors. Having worked at a high profile talent agency in New York, I know the schools that the agents pay attention to are Yale, NYU, and Juilliard. Keep in mind though that a brand name graduate school is not the only criterion that will get you seen - refreshing, because the above listed schools will put you seriously in debt. Remember, most actors (even signed one's) are auditioning far more than they are working, so be prepared to find a good source of income outside of acting. I'm sure you've heard this before. It's a freaking hard life, but if you are up to it, somebody's gotta do it. Best of luck to you!
