Comedy and Horror.
Which is why Shaun of the Dead and Dead and Breakfast are gems.

I love baseball movies. I've loved the game since I was 8, but never got to play it. When I watch movies where someone is either denied the chance, or gets the long shot chance, I'm bawling like a baby. The Rookie is my biggest cry movie. 9 minutes in I lose it when the kids dad doesn't let him stay for the championship. Even the kid baseball movies can get to me.

Anything with action and adventure. Fantasy elements seal the deal. Either those, or scary movies.
I've never been big on comedies, romances or 'chick flicks'.

Action/Adventure and Sci-fi/Fantasy and some Comedies. Only a select few romances, dramas or romantic comedies. I need something with a good story, that keeps you interested.

Comedy or action. Or both, Bad Boys 2 is a favorite of mine because it had both qualities.
