You HAVE to speak to the Embassy. My friend was in the same situation with her little sister.... They were even willing to use some expensive legal way to get it sorted out but were still denied.

I guess it depends on the seriousness of the crime/ if they went to jail (youth obviously).... But you DEFINITELY need to get advice from the embassy (try online first?)- don't show up at the airport and hope for the best. The sooner you check the better as I doubt holiday insurance would cover that reason for cancellation but you still might get a refund from the travel agent.

Good luck

to return to usa for a holiday(for individuals which skill holiday) you like a passport.(visa to artwork)as a techniques because of the fact the criminal checklist it relies upon on the offence. in case you have a passport touch the embassy they might desire to provide you the respond you like. desire this helps.

depends what the record is. if it is drug related you have no
chance. just dont tell them on your visa application. they will only find out if it is bad. then the applicant will be what is called flaged.apply for visa first and go from there

14 year old with a criminal record!
Gotta be English. As I am, so don't jump down my throat.
No way would I be 'treating' a 14 year old to a trip to the U.S.A. who has a criminal record.
They won't want him there, we don't want him here...choices, choices.
