-"Them motorcycles were fast and loud , they went voom, vooom, voom"
-"No, no it went more bike Veen Veeeeeeeeen, Veeen".
-"Sound good cause they didn't cost a dime...shoot"
-"Yeah shoot"
SORRY I COULDEN'T RESIST - to answer your question get a harley or a buell. Those Buells sound great to me - not as much top speed but plenty of torque for handling fast in the twisty roads.

first of all its a 250 and wont get incredible deep or super loud. best thing you can do is get a full system exhaust.. that means new race headers with less curves down to the muffler part. Get a muffler that has no baffles in it or restrictors. It should have a straight through design. If it comes with a silencer take it out. I would start off with just a aftermarket slip on muffler and see how that sounds

Suzuki and it is more reliable less maintenance. Easily get 100,000 miles without a major over haul.

To whom should the exhaust sound good? Very subjective question. I prefer an old school straight pipe Harley.
