:I like many different trees. I like the feel of the real trees but I don't like the needles all over my carpet. And one year we found a bird nest in the tree so that was the end of that.
I also really love the new fiber optic trees, and the red and white trees w/ lights. I just like them all. :) But mostly I love to decorate them with my children. All the laughing and hot cocoa, and memories...

I got a fake one, and it doesn't even look real, it's white, but it's gorgeous and if you're going to pay an arm and a leg for a good tree, you might as well get one that isn't going to turn brown in a month. With a fake one you can use it year after year so it's a more sensible investment.

I grew up with real one my whole life so when I had my own house I bought a fake one lol. I actually have a fake one that doesn't even look like a real tree lol it is one of those fiber optic ones. I like the fake because I can keep it up longer then a real one lasts.

I have 2 Real ones (1 in the living room & 1 in the family room) and 4 artificial ones (3 in the kids rooms & one in the Kitchen. Okay... maybe I'm obsessed! LOL

MIne isn't real. i have carpet and I don't like having to get the needles up. But it looks good. It is 6 1/2 feet and it goes all the way to the ground so you can't really put presents under it. You have to put them around it.

we used to get the real ones...then we bought a fake one a few years back, and it works just as well. this year my dad wanted to get a real one, and i told him NO! they always complain of the little tree pieces that fall of onto the ground...i don't want to hear them complain again!

i would perfer a real one because they smell good but they are like very messy and the needles are hard to vacum up so we always get a fake one no clean up just put it up and your done till after christmas
