Second: Contact their hometown and high school - since friends always show up for these things.

Third: Google his last bame and see if you an contact a family members who you can visit with and share your memories and condolences.

Did you seach google or yahoo? How about check the internet website of the local paper where the person passed. Sorry about your friend though.
