Go to your doctor, a walk in clinic, or even the ER. Bladder infections can quickly spread to the kidneys and cause serious problems. In the meantime, go buy AZO. It's an over the counter pain reliever for UTI's. Your doctor can give you something stronger when you see him/her.

Just because it doesn't hurt as much when you lay down doesn't mean anything.
You need to get medication before it gets worse, it can travel and you could wind up with a kidney infection. Believe me, you don't want that to happen.
In the mean time, drink cranberry juice (not the 'cocktail' which is nothing but sugar water) but real cranberry juice. Get to the doctor for some medication that will clear it up in a few days.
If you are suseptible to these infections, you may want to take a suppliment to help called D-Mannose you can get at the health food store. Discuss it with the store manager. You can also take cranberry suppliments too.

The fact that it doesn't hurt as much when you're lying down, doesn't mean anything. You need to get to a doc and get some antiboitics. Even a walk in clinic will be able to help you. But PLEASE do it soon! If you don't get it done soon, it WILL move into your kidneys and that hurts WAY worse. I just had one in March, and when it moves into your kidneys, there is NO comfortable position to sit or lay or stand. You get SERIOUSLY hefty antibiotics for your kidneys, and they'll make you sick because they are so potent. If your back starts to hurt, you need to just go to a doctor!
Once you get this taken care of, you'll be able to feel if one starts coming on. Drink tons of water, and I take some cranberry concentrate pills. That will help build up your urinary tract to help prevent infections, especially if you're prone to them! I hope I helped!

The extra water you drink, the extra diluted the urine would be and the less it particularly is going to sting or burn to bypass. So confident, you fairly could drink plenty and various fluids, and water is excellent. If issues are particularly, particularly undesirable- you additionally can do this little trick. Fill your tub with approximately an inch or so of warmth water and upload in a handful of baking soda. Then have your wee in the bathtub. i know it sounds nasty, even though it particularly is going to help you get previous the 1st time or so, whilst issues are extra in all hazard to burn. once you bypass, you merely drain the bathtub, wash your self down somewhat, and get on with existence. you additionally can use a squeeze bottle crammed with heat water and baking soda, and squeeze the water aimed promptly at your self jointly as you have a wee besides. it particularly is somewhat much less confusing for cleanup, yet needless to say you decide on the clean squeeze bottle. The extra you drink, the easier it particularly is going to alter into. you additionally can ask your healthcare expert for a drugs, Pyridium, to help decrease down on the soreness. It turns issues orange, and would stain underclothes- even though it does additionally help. In some places you additionally can purchase this over the counter besides. The antibiotics on my own will take some days to do away with the an infection, so won't help with your soreness that without postpone. For which you merely desire water, and numerous it.

You need antibiotics. They do sell over-the-counter pain medication for UTI's. I think it is called Uristat. You can get it at your local drug store. The pills make your pee turn orange but it has gotten rid of the pain until I could get into the doctor. The only way to completly get rid of infection is antibiotics. Drinking water and Cranberry juice helps but seeing a doctor is the best thing to do.

Cranberry juice will help, but will not heal your infection.
Like the others have said, see a doctor and get anti biotics.
I personally have had dozens of UTI's. If you do not treat this quickly, it has the possiblity of developing into kidney infection which can be very serious and will have you in the hospital.

Are you taking antibiotics? That should help. Or, you should try drinking a lot of cranberry juice. Try to rest and take it easy.
Keep drinking lots of fluids. Don't be too active. Just try to take it easy.
