Omg - I love Wicked. It is absolutely amazingly fantastic. I would say it doesnt matter what seat you have, just go to see it. I have been once and I'm going again tomorrow. Yay, yay, yay!! Woohoo!! Take 'One Short Day' at the Apollo and I can guarantee you will have a brilliant time. Even if you can't see it, the music is fantastic and you'll be 'Dancing through Life' by the time you leave, although I'm sure you'll be able to see just fine to be able to appreciate the amazingness of the musical. Idina Menzel has a beautiful voice, try to see it before she does her last performance on December 30th. The whole company is great, the singing, the dancing, the sets. I hope this helps. It is just 'Wonderful' so 'Defy Gravity' and enjoy the show. I'm sure you'll be saying 'Thank Goodness' after watching Wicked (and possibly understand the craziness of this answer). Not going to see Wicked, regardless of the seat you have is a terrible thing, and as we all know, 'No Good Deed' goes unpunished. I'm sure many people havent been taken by the musical, but 'I'm Not That Girl'. Hehe! Anyway, go see this thrillifying show and enjoy! (Although word of warning - it is addictive and you may end up answering strangers questions incorporating the titles of the songs from Wicked!) See you there.
PS. My first seat was J36 Circle Seating but tomorrow I'm in F Orchestra Stalls - 6 rows from the front. Can't wait!!

I saw it a couple of weeks ago from a front circle seats. It is a large theatre and the cheaper seats would be at the back.
I suggest that you wait until after the new year to see whether the Society of West End Theatres along with the Mayor of London are running the Get Into London Theatre promotion when you might be able to purchase a top price seat for £30 or less. . I've taken advantage of this since it's been running and managed to get good seats for Mary Poppins, Mama Mia, Lion King etc, The promotion runs from January to March it administered by Ticketmaster the web address is getintolondontheatre.com.

I went to see it two days ago and I sat in the cheap seats. I would definitely advise you to pay more for good seats. My enjoyment of the show was greatly reduced purely for the fact I was sitting 3 rows from the back in the upper circle. It is a really big theatre so you'd want to be close to the stage. Hope that helps.

I've seen it in three different theatres, but not in England. I strongly suggest that you get seats on the main floor (even if it's in the back) because if you have balcony seats you can see all the tracks for scenery on the stage. I had very good box seats one night, and it seemed like a show about moving scenery from up there!!
