CDs cant be bought as there are only 2 cds he has by Girls Aloud that he hasnt got. He doesnt eat junk food. Ive got £10.00 to spend.

Do not buy him music. If he is really into it he probably has his individual taste and ideas about his music. So there is no point. It's like trying to buy a classical music CD for an Opera singer. They know better.
A gift voucher from a music shop is a very safe choice and bang in the middle. Not personal yet 'i know you like your music' kind of thing. Perfect for the workplace

I would get him a Compilation CD - even if he owns the albums he will have lots of great songs on one cd - this would be great for in the car or on the train.
One of the 'Now...That's What I Call Music' would be good.

Try books stores in your area to see if you can get a book on pop music over the years or something to do with music, good luck.

What about buying him some credit so he can download music? If he has an Ipod or something, you can pay for a certain number of songs for him to choose himself.
