Ribbit V Rabbit ?

can somebody prove this, is it in an encyclopedia? who defined the frog noise as Ribbit?

I thought frogs said "ribbit, ribbit"

Rabbits...they bang so much they can't talk.

First of all frogs go Ribbit Ribbit.......Rabbits I don't think they make a sound since they're low man on the food chain. Maybe Elmer Fudd knows since he goes Wabbit huntin'.....lol
