IT IS AN AL QUEDA PLOT TO DESTABILIZE THE COUNTRY AND TO GET THE REST OF THE WORLD TO BLAME THE US FOR THE PROBLEMS. THE MAJORITY OF THE TROUBLE MAKERS ARE NOT EVEN FROM IRAQ. THE PROBLEMS IS THAT THE IRAQI FACTIONS ARE NOT GOING TO ALLOW THE INSURGENTS TO KILL THEM WITH OUT A FIGHT. IT SEEM LIKE A CIVIL WAR BUT IT IS AN INTRICATE PLOT TO DESTROY THE AMERICAN PROCESS. THAT IS WHY WE HAVE TO STICK IT OUT. IF WE RUN WE WILL BE ASKING FOR FURTHER PROBLEMS ON OUR HOMELAND.

Some American commanders have said they have a hard time telling who is AL Queda and who is an insurgent. So they just shoot everyone, so the line is becoming blurred. If we are there to fight Al Queda than lets fight, lets quit pussyfooting around and fight them. Make the Iraqis take care of the sectarian violence and we will handle the terrorists but we cannot win unless we have a clear view who the enemy is and what are goals are. O and by the way it is not a civil war yet it could become one but its not there yet.

Well, they ARE facing a civil war if things don't change.
But it is no secret that Iran, Al Qaeda, Syria and the Saddam supporters have all been engaged in sectarian violence to incite a civil war and collapse the free and democratic government.
And if the government collapses into civil war, we have nothing left to do there but leave.

No, I have yet to hear from Al Queda that they now hate the Iraqis more than they hate Americans. If it was mostly terrorist in Iraq, they would be trying to kill Americans and not the Iraqis.

I might be mistaken, but how this war is classified relates directly to Congressional funding of any extensions. On the point, I believe in my heart that we are facing a combination of both a civil war as well as efforts by insurgents/Muslim radicals. If this is the case, it ought to prove interesting how this war progresses.

Totally Agree.
The influx of fanatics from Iran, and Syria is causing major problems. Until we find away to keep this from happening the War will escalate into major chaos.
By having more troops we could of course seal off those borders. Not necessarily from the USA. High time some other countries that are our allies on the ground back up and send in more troops.

Uh stop drinking the kool aid.
When the lines of Iraq were drawn years ago it was at the benefit of oil companies not what was best for the people of the region. There are three separate factions of people who all want control and want revenge for the years of Saddam. Saddam Hussein kept them all in check, we went in dismantled the government and army, water electricity and all that, and left them to let the hate stir. The "terrorists" then come into the country and supply the side they want to win with weapons.

You are correct.
Al Qaeda is trying, along with Iran & Syria, to start a Civil War.
NBC News is helping them, too.
