I'd go with Brees, since I don't think Tom Brady will be throwing the ball much in the second half of the Pats' game.
My guess is that Brady might have a good first half, but that the Patriots will take control early and go mostly to a running offense. I can see a second half of the Patriots running the ball a lot. On the other hand, I expect the 49ers to at least hang somewhat with the Saints, so Brees will likely be passing deeper into the game. An efficient passer like Brees should be able to feast on that 49ers passing D, the same way that Kurt Warner did in Week 1 and others have since.

It really depends on how much you want to risk....Drew Brees has been red hot on gettin 300+ yards a game...Tom Brady however seems to be back to his old self beating a chicago defence. I would still start Tom Brady since Detroit defence only has 6 ints in the whole season. The 49ers hav a better defence with 10 ints and drew brees does throw a lot of ints.

I say Brees. Most teams are still trying to figure out the Saint's passing offense with many targets. The Lions have a better overall passing defense than the 49'ers. Plus, Brees has more mobility for overall yards. Good luck.

I'm a Lions fan and I think they've been awful, but Drew Brees has been leading the NFL in passing and lets admit it his WRs are catching everything thrown at them. Drew Brees.

Cutler little question or Aaron Rodgers because he appeared solid contained in the pre-season and GB are not any dummies. in the experience that they were given rid of Favre you comprehend Rodgers is taking section in nicely and they position self belief in him. With each and every of the further stress it's going to make Rodgers play even extra powerful after sitting contained in the wings for see you later and prepared to win over the Packers followers.
