I live with my mom, I smoke pot, she found out last yr & put me out the house, pulled me out of school, calld the cops, had me arrested got me on probation for a yr & sent me 4 drug treatment.. I got out of treatment, she let me come back home, I started planning 2 go back 2 school, I got a job (things were looking good) BUT THEN I smoked pot again, & she found out again & told me 2 get out of her home again.. So I found an apartment, my boyfnd said he'd move in 2 help, I was supposed 2 move this wk BUT my mum turns around & says that she wants me 2 stay so I can get more treatment & go back 2 school which she is willing 2 help pay 4 (ONCE I GET "BETTER"). Heres the other thing, my Dad lives & works in ZAIRE(africa) & I was thinking about just leaving & going to stay w/ him & hopefully get back in2 school next yr. My mum is also planning on moving 2 Africa (at the end of this yr) she wants me 2leave w/ her because of all this drama that now invloves the law.. I can't decide wat 2 do!!

your mom is offering to help you!! she wants the best for you and is willing to do what it takes for you get treatment and life on back on track..she seems like a responsible caring woman so i would say stick with your mother even if it means getting kicked out of your house! its only because she loves you and until you figure out the consequences of your actions..then i presume she will keep doing it

Are you addicted to Pot? and what type of peer pressure surrounds you to make you feel that drugs are a good escape.
You are young and should focus on making yourself better and leaving negativity behind. If it takes you moving to Africa to uproot you from delinquent behavior that's the choice you would have to make.
I am assuming you are a minor so I doubt the record will stick and follow you into your much formative years. But you need to think of the consequences of your actions and how much they could put the ones you love in danger. Your mom put the brakes on one situation cause she's hoping it taught you a lesson but quite frankly it didn't. If not pot, what would you go to next.
Assume responsiblity and plan for tomorrow, you have your whole life ahead of you.

Get off the weed. You have a chance to go to Africa and you're having a hard time deciding what to do? Sounds like a no brainer to me. Let your mom help you. Move to Africa, get on with your life. Putting school off is never a good idea. The world is full of people who "meant" to go back. Good luck.

I would go to Africa, because then you will remove yourself completely from the bad situation you are in, and the bad influences around you. Besides, you may love it there!
