Your diet and exercising are the key points to lower high bp. Eating more fruits and vegetables benefits cardiovascular health. Considering eating more bananas and potatoes which are high in potassium which is known to reduce high bp. Also try folic acid. A study by the Harvard Medical School looked at the benefits of folic acid on blood pressure and found it to be highly beneficial, particularly amongst younger women. It seemed to have a protective effect against high blood pressure.

Yes. It takes commitment and disipline. Change your diet to eating mostly protein and less simple carbs. Do resistence exercises. Science is that which works! My father did this, he ate steak, eggs, bacon, chicken, salads, drank only water exercised with weights, took a good supplement, all for a month and his BP dropped and his cholesterol dropped. His MD could not believe he ate all that meat and stuff. The secret was he cut out all the processed food and crap like chips, bread, pasta, and starches. Has he back slid? Yes we are all human. Ya gotta find a balance that works for you. Remember the people who say you cant do it have never done it themselves or if they did it was half assed! Do it for a couple of weeks & see the proof. Good luck!

it has so many thing that play into this and not knowing how old you are or if you have a weight problem or anything else. I will tell you what works for me. I was border Line on my bp and so what I started was to workout and really work out join a gym and do a lot on making the heart work out doing the spin classes and everything and I went on a diet and lost 17 lbs and the next time I went into the doctors because I was sick and it was prefect I was happy for that but still was sick but you need to talk to your doctor to see if this is okay for you to do or maybe it is some thing that takes time for you

Well, considering that herbs would be classified as a food (or at least a food additive), the only natural way to lower BP is regular exercise.

If you're not exercising, start exercising.

Eat healthy foods and stay away from lots of bad fats.
