A corset is more stiff, it has more boning to hold you together. A bustier does have boning but not as much, it can be worn as a shirt (in some cases) or as negligee. A merry widow is almost like a bustier and a teddy. Usually worn as negligee, and I'm pretty sure it's a full piece, shoulder to crotch.

I can answer this!!! Corset: Has heavy boning usually, laces up and is designed to cinch the waist tight. Sexy but functional. Bustier: Same look as corset, generally, but more for looks/sex appeal than function. Merry Widow: Like a lightweight corset or a bustier but with built-in garters for your hose. Oh, and I prefer a corset...makes for a VERY nice silhouette and loads of cleavage.
