My wife and I currently have Sprint and we hardly use any out of network minutes. My daughter has Nextel because she had to have the walkie talkie service. She uses about 1000 prime minutes a month. I am looking to consolidate the phones on one plan and if my daughter loses the walkie talkie service, so be it. What service would you suggest for a family plan with 3 phones and about 1000-1200 prime minutes? We live on Long Island, NY. Any suggestions would be appreciated

Well, if you all already have Sprint and are happy with it, I would say go ahead and stay with it. Sprint's 1400 minute Family Share Plan with Fair & Flexible is $89.99 a month for the first two lines and $9.99 a month for the third line.... so you will be spending about $100.00 a month plus tax on all three phones (and then, of course, your text messaging, internet, insurance, and what not is extra). I would say to go ahead and stay with Sprint because 1) you get your night minutes from 7PM to 7AM, 2) you will get mobile to mobile calling, so even though your daughter won't have walkie talkie, she will still be able to talk to her friends that are on Nextel. 3) Sprint gives you the Fair & Flexible plan, so if your daughter does go over her minutes, you pay $5 for 50 minutes as opposed to 35 to 40 cents a minute. Even with Cingular Roll Over, you would have to have a higher plan so that she can roll over minutes, which will cost you more in the long run.

If you are still in contract with Nextel and Sprint, you can just migrate from Nextel to Sprint and perhaps get a discount on the phone. You can go to www.sprint.com/rebate to see if that phone number qualifies for a discount.

Good luck!

T-mobile has the my favs, which allows you to pick 5 people that you frequently call, on any network, even landlines, and call them anyday and anytime, all for free. Plus the website allows you to check the reliability of the service in your area, its called the Personal Coverage Check.

I particularly have a motorola rizr z3. T-cellular sevice. i like my telephone, it may carry alot of songs, that's solid cuz i like song. Takes great %.. i like the type, its a slider. it quite is kinda falling aside, the buttons are falling out. It ain't my fault, they used some style of sticky substance to hold down the navigational button and the middle button to the telephone. the middle button is someplace, who's accustomed to? i will do without that. do you be responsive to what proportion cases the navigational button has long previous lacking? I could tear down the region to hunt for the piece of button! T-cellular is costly, i don't be responsive to roughly different amenities. T-cellular is all i be responsive to and that i cant watch for my settlement to end. My rant is over now lol
