Are there any Verizon customers out there with the LG Chocolate phone I've been hearing so much about?
Do you LG Chocolate users recommend it? Is it a good phone? Good performance and stuff?
I'm thinking I want that as my next phone - but would like to hear more before I buy it.

Its a good phone but it ofcourse has its annoying parts. when i make a call the touch sensative buttons deactivate automatically, so thats a good thing, but when you check your voicemail you have to dial in your password and that activates the buttons and when you listen to your message your cheek ends up touching the buttons and messing everything up. Also, if youre really going to use the mp3 daily the only thing wrong with it is when you want to search for a artist on your phone you have to scroll untill you reach the artist. It takes FOREVERRR and it can get quite annoying. and the Dial buttons are small for texting so you might have a hard time. oh, and taking a picture is sooooo difficult if you want to take a pic of yourself with someone. the buttons are in difficult areas and verrry uncomfortable....haha thats about the only reasons to not get the phone. Everything else is pretty good!!

The LG Chocolate is sooo awesome! Its sleek design and everything about it is awesome. When we switched to verizon
we ended up getting 3 free phones all because my mom works
for a school. And there is a $100 bundle and we got the music kit, a micro SD card, and an extended battery for $100. And you can download bitpim online and use the music kit with the USB connection and put pictures from your computer and ringtones from your computer on your phone for free! Also the chocolate has a good camera and sounds pretty good too with the music. There are awesome menues such as the rock n roll menue and the jazz menue. The music essentials kit also comes with the headphones to listen to music plus you can talk on the phone with it too. And There is soo much more awesome things about this phone to but that pretty musch sums it up. But if you get this phone you should ask for the bundle which is 3 things for $100 dollars. We ended up getting 3 cell phones, the music essentals kit, a micro SD card, and an extended battery for only $130 dollars! WOOOOOOOOOW!!!!! cuz there is a tax fee on each fone of 10 dollars but they were all free so it was 30 dollars for all the phones! GREAT PHONE GREAT PRICE! GREAT GREAT GREAT! I LOOOOOOOOVE MY CHOCOLATE PHONE!!!!!

Michael is wrong.

i actually OWN a chocolate phone, and I enjoy it very much.

It is VERY clear when talking! and the pictures are clear and I loe the features.

As for music, yes you have to purchase the music package. but if you buy it at the same time as the phone you get a discount. you also have to get a memory card (also on discount at time of purchase) -

Now, I do not know how buying these options are any different from other phones? I am sure you need a memory card for the others!!!

and you CAN transfer music from your computer to your phone via WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER 11, you have to SYNC them. it is in the directions, it is not difficult at all, you just have to drag and drop. I do not know where that other guy got that you have to buy the music, it is not true. I transfered music from my laptop to my phone last week. you can play the music through your headphones, or on a speaker on the phone already (its pretty loud too)

i have not had any problems at all with the phone, its clear and gets good service!!!

you do not want the chocolate espically if you want to get it for music or any verizon mp3 phone for that matter. with the chocolate you have to purchase an additional $49 "music kit" that comes with the headphones, data cable, and software to transfer music onto your phone, secondly you can only put music on your chocolate that you purchased from verizons music store, you cannot transfer downloaded songs from your computer onto the chocolate, you are better off getting an mp3 phone from Sprint, same coverage area as Verizon and they do not have a propriatary music store so you can download whatever you want on the phone, either the LG Fusic, Motorola v3m, or the motorola krzr all beat the verizon phones.
