Pen with gel ink is not writing.What is the remedy?

Get thee to a good stationery store and look at their selection of pens. Personally, I favor Cross (price + quality); if you're looking for a good starter pen (especially if you're looking for a "first" fountain pen), Parker makes some decent fountain pens that are cheap and will let you experiment. See Fahrney's below--their catalogs are pornography for pen buffs.
