why I ask: we have a culturely diverse office and were discussing the christmas holiday and were wondering if the world celebrates the holiday the same way Americans do or if they celebrate the holiday at all.

Having worked with establishing "Call Centers" in other countries, I can tell you that most of the "non-Christan" countries like Christmas. Or at least the Call Center people do. It gives them a day off that they would not otherwise get.

Beyond the Americas, Europe and Australia, Christmas is not a holiday in most other countries. It is treated about like Yom Kippur or Ramadan or treated in the US. They may acknowledge the day, and those who are of the Christian faith may do wom celebrating, but it is nothing like in the US, where we celerate for an entire month.

Christmas is a non secular pageant. international places do no longer have fun Christmas, people do.. the place ever there are Christmas, there is somebody to have fun the form of the" be attentive to God made flesh."

different countries celebrate it differently... and most religions celebrate it differently as well...
