Very sad and unfortunate. On the drive home from Thanksgiving my husband and I saw a house on fire out in the country. The poor people lost everything. It was especially bad knowing that if they had lived in a city or small town the fire crew could have salvaged at least a portion of the home simply by getting there quickly.
This is the time of year when everyone should check their smoke alarms. I hope you can help the family in some way.

Pray for the parents and the kids. This will help you with strength to go find out who you can contact to help them. It would upset me to know that the house was lost let alone lives...Time is needed for them to heal and a year is just the beginning time frame after being in a fire to cope with picking up their lives. Definately visit the parents if you can...listen and offer to listen some more...
