Has anyone noticed a lag time between an action you take with the controller, and how long it takes to occur in game play? The reason I ask is: One of the commercials shows an individual taking a sword swipe at an enemy, but that action occured approx. 2 seconds later on the television. that would drive me crazy since we all expect instantenous response when we take an action in the game. Thanks in advance for any return comments!

I've not noticed a lag in my games. But it really depends on the game you are playing. Some games are one-for-one (meaning the action you are taking in real life is portrayed on the screen) and some are more like mouse/pointer type of movements.

You may be talking about red steel. I've not personally played it, but my husband has the game. That game is not one for one. You don't swipe your remote and see the sword swipe. Its more like you do a motion to attack. He's not complained about any lag time in it.
Like in zelda (which I have played) you don't swipe your remote in time with Links sword movements (meaning you aren't flailing your remote about left and right to swing your sword left and right) Rather, you flick the remote and he does a sword movement. Flick the remote twice and he does a two hit combo, etc.. But the direction you flick the remote does not determine where he swings his sword. (edit: that sound really odd, but it really does feel natural. )

Wii Sports is pretty much one for one. And I can say that it doesn't have a lag.

From what I hear ( haven't gotten mine yet) the lag times are virtually zero.

whoa...thats sucks... i think you really need to take care of the sensor bar and the controller really well then.

i see lot of people swinging slow. so if u sing to fast it wont pick up fast.

so just go with the flow
