Some of you keep copying and pasting this 20 point dissertation from someone else that states the reasons he should be impeached. Please show me were this came from and the basis behind each one. See I want to find proof this is true not just copy and paste someone elses ideas. If you dont know here it is.

see just like this one I really want to learn and they give examples but no basis. If you show me where it is from or give me a place that shows why these are true I will read it. and I get a thumbs down for asking them to proove their point so I may change my stance.

I dont have an opinion of him. I do think he has surrounded himself with people that are way to close to him which has hurt thier ability to offer him un-biased insight. i.e George Tenet, Dick Cheney, Harriet Myers, Karl Rove. It would be like if you got elected president and you made all your Fraternity Brothers and all your High School buddies your top advisers, I mean how much do you think is really gonna get done? I have heard that he will not fire anyone he is to afraid of what they might think of him. It goes all the way back to his days as a Texas oil tycoon. His heart is in the right place, he thinks what he is doing is the right thing and once he makes up his mind your are not changing in it cause he thinks hes right, you gotta respect that whether or not you agree with him it is an admirable quality. But the bottom line............you cant impeach someone for being a dumb@ss thats the only crime hes guilty of.

Im pretty much Independent when it comes to politics but i am so sick of hearing the Left WIng Loons talk about impeachment and what a horrible job the President has done and how Iraq is a mess. Maybe those things are true but they havent brought one positive idea to the table...........not one. Whats the Democrats plan? I havent heard one except wave the white flag and run home and impeach the president...........I mean come on is that the best you can do, what are we paying these people for?

As far as the Wiretapping goes. There are 2 kinds of people in this world now. You either live in a pre-9-11 mentality or a post 9-11 mentality. Quit listening to the bleeding heart media and open your eyes. There are people who want to destroy us and if running some wiretaps and some other clandestine stuff is gonna keep me alive and not speaking Arabic, then im all for it. Bush is trying to keep us safe.........I dont really like him i think hes kinda of an idiot myself, but hes trying cut the man some slack. He got dealt a raw deal by being in the chair when 9-11 happend and hes responding the best way he knows how.

I love the bashing that takes place... Clinton lied under oath about having relations with Lewinsky and henceforth was sent to impeachment hearings.

Bush has not as proved otherwise yet lied under oath or committed any other criminal offenses that are punishable with Impeachment trials.

Dem's and Liberals are all a bunch of uneducated back stabbing hate mongers who preach peace and good will. unless that peace and good will are achieved through a means that they disagree with...

Let us take a look at Dem history... Back in the day, Dems were a good people who helped there fellow Americans. For this I reference FDR and his New Deal policies during the Great Depression. He started Social Security which was a fund that the Gov't could not touch at all and was completely self funded through taxation and was designed to last for as long as it was untouched. Then enter multiple senators and such that started changing SS over the years making it touchable by the Gov't and such and taking money from it. Now it won't last through the next generation. The Dems blame the Republicans for this even though it was there own greedy arses that destroyed it.

Well, I dont subscribed to lists or polls. I do think that Bush has deliberately overstepped his authority in a manner which violates Federal law concerning illegal wiretapping and outing a CIA operative during a time of war, thus aiding and abetting the enemy. These alone would be serious enough offenses to initiate impeachment proceedings, in my view. Other than that, if stupidity, arrogance, and poor leadership were impeachable offenses, Bush would have been gone a long time ago.

By the way, Republicans impeached Clinton over the work "it". When the did they said that no President was above the law and that the rule of law is paramount. Have the Republicans now changed their minds?

I suggest you take another approach to this. Assume that each one of these is correct and go out and try and disprove them.

What if you found only one to be true? Remember, Clinton was impeached for one "tiny" infraction that was more about his personal life than what he was doing as a president.should he then be impeached? What if half are true?? what if all are true?

Maybe you are concerned that if you try and disprove them, that you won't like what you find.

you don't want the truth captn O. the truth is out there. go find it. the truth will set you free.

Well, I saw the list you speak of. Did a quick search and found the following link along with a bunch of hits on stuff that I found absolutely rabid and hate-filled. This is hard for me being a 60s veteran, the sense of entitlement I see everywhere amazes me.

Not sure what the question is because they give you sources... the constitution of the United States of America.

If you need further research, you can research and examine similar violations.

Also, I have a long list of thoroughly researched reasons why Bush should be impeached and what laws he has broken BUT I suspect you are not looking for a real answer here... rather you just want to argue in an attempt to create false doubt...

Not one of the paragraphs in that brainless diatribe enumerates the criminal statute in the U.S. Code that he is supposed to have violated. The "Impeach Bush" crowd's only reason is "because we hate him."

You must state the law he violated if you are to impeach the President! Why can't they get that through their thick heads?

UPDATE: Yoda and Beach Bum: Again, what statute did he violate?

I'm not anti-Bush. But I did read those posts, and I think it's ridiculous. I also agree with you about asking a quality question= a handful of responses.....and asking an outrageous or bashing question= a plethora of hate-filled responses.

Most intelligent libs know it is nothing personnel against G.W. Bush. Heck, most of us would like to go fishing with him. It is the Republican party, Rowve, Cheney and the Religious Right we have a problem with.

The really sad thing is liberals cannot accept that Bush won the election. I guess when it does not go their way, they throw a tantrum. I think I stopped acting like this when I was 5.
