find this: http://www.pcstats.com/articleimages/200504/hddinstall_sata2.jpg on your moterboard and plug it in...if you do not have one then get this: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=2329305&CatId=1455

Plug the cables in. Assuming you have a SATA interface in your machine. If not, you'll need an expansion card.
