The Russian Revolution started in Paris, The head of the Revolution Lenin had been exiled to Paris, but he was involved
in planning the Revolution so was Trotsky. The ordinary citizen in Russia was starving and could not earn a living, while Czar Nicholas and the Czarina lived in splendor. During a peaceful Demonstration in Moscow, the Czar ordered his regiment of Cossacks to end the Demonstration, men, women and children were massacred by Cossacks on horseback. It was a shameful Blood Bath. The people who organized the Demonstration were no longer willing to do so peacefully and the Revolution started
Entire Regiments of the Czar decided against fighting and joined the Socialist Revolution. They arrested the Czar and his entire Family. There were still conflicts brewing, the Aristocrats, so called White Russians fought for a while and even tried to free the Czars Family. That is one reason they were moved in a hurry, then herded into a basement room and shot. It took quite awhile for the women to die, their jewelery was sewed in their clothing and caused some of the bullets fail to injure them.
They moved the bodies covered them with Lyme and buried them in an unknown area. They burned entire villages down, just
on the word of one informer, who accused the population to help the White Russians. Russia turned into a burned and even more poverty stricken unproductive land. The Revolution did not solve Russia's Problems.
