Hey Lucy, there is nothing wrong with being sensitive, but if you think you are over sensitive, try this, go to your local herbalist and get some (St John's Wort tablets) Lot's of people use it for SAD (seasonal adjustment disorder) it really is good, I even take it and I don't suffer from SAD, it just makes me even happier than I already am, go for it, give it a go, no side affects, just smile affects, good luck and HAPPY Christmas X

You don't say what age you are. It may be hormonal. I can be very sensitive sometimes and I am not a teenager. Sometimes when I see a picture of my cat that has been missing for 3 months nearly I cry. When Christmas films come on I cry. Why do you think you are not a good lover and partner? You seem to be lacking in confidence. You must talk to yoru boyfriend about that one and please don't worry about being too sensitive. You aren't

Probably you are identifying too much with the film. The next time you watch a movie don't get too engrossed. Blink, turn away from the screen and relaxe. Keep doing it a couple of times, always reminding yourself that this is not real, after all. When you do this repeatedly for a couple of movies you will be able to decipher the difference and enjoy a movie for what it is and not make it a personal nightmare.

Crying is good. Crying is a release. Stop srying and you'll just bottle it up. Maybe there is something within you that makes you cry. If so then you might be better off talking things through with someone to see if you can get to the bottom of it.
Then again maybe you just cry a lot and need to accept this as part of you.

If you don't feel happy inside and you're concerned about your relationship then maybe there is something upsetting you that you aren't admitting to yourself. If everything is fine and you're still miserable then you should find someone you trust to talk to about it.
Crying at silly things and being sensitive is fine and can be hormonal or just who you are. Being depressed and crying uncontrollably at the slightest twinge is a sign that something is wrong. Hang in there.

I suggest you seek out counseling and discuss this and find out why. Ask yourself when this all started. Try to trace back the first time it happened.
As far as being "a better lover and partner" I would say you have to expect him to be that to you when you go through this. Where is his support for you?

Are you like this all the time or just around a certain time of month? You sound like you are just very over sensitive but there could be more to it. Maybe you should go to the Doctor. You don't say how old you are but it could be the on set of something.

Try and change your body when you feel upset or going to cry I you lean over and have your head down, you feel much more upset. shoulders back and head up. Also to stop crying, move your eyes to your top left, when you put your body in this type of position it is very hard to feel depressed.
