How do you soften itchy knits?

I suffer a lot with woolen jumpers and cardigans! Any help will be appreciated.

soak them in fabric softner for about 20 minutes or so. If your into sewing, sew a silky or cotton liner inside.

Try a few minutes in the dryer on fluff with a softener sheet. A silk or cotton camisole is also a good idea.

Rinse them in a fabric softener and wear a cotton slip with them to keep them off your skin.
