His name was just Captain.
Portrayed by the later Strother Martin.

Awesome film! IMDb.com lists him as "The Captain". Strother Martin does great.

He was just the captain, each of the boss's had last names attached, but Struther martin was just called Captain

not sure go to a movie site for it and look under cast. but that was an awsome movie
