You'd have to pretty weak to allow what some pampered, overpaid jock says or does to influence you in any way.

Most people are influenced by what they see and hear being done.
I don't see Carson Palmer outside of football broadcasts on TV.
When I see him playing QB, I see him as a motivator to his teammates...enjoining on them to play as well as they can and to not quit.
hope that he is as good an influence off field as he is on.
