Remember to take it one day at a time. Remember that your worst craving will only last 3 minutes or so. Remember that it's not only your life and health that you are affecting by smoking now, it's the life and health of your child. I think most parents would say that they would give their life for their child. What are you willing to sacrifice for yours?

its not good to quit while prg its better to just cut back it will shock your child if you quit cold turkey so cut back to like 5 cigs a day and then as the days go bye cut back to 4 then so one but while that baby is inside of you make sure that you don't shock it cause even though you don't think so the baby is already addtic and it could come out wanting nicotine if you Quit all the way. Thats what i was told when i had my son and i did just that and well i never ended up quiting but i didn't hurt my son either he is a healthy boy and very active

First off try to stay away from smokers....this helped me the most. Tell your partner to jump your case everytime you smoke (youll get tired of this quick) Dont buy more. And slowley quit untill you run out. The first few days are hard but you can do it!!! And after a while smoke make your sick to smell it.
Good luck!

i sucked on lollipops and at first it was really hard but you have to think of all the damage that your smoking is going to do to this baby that might help. i had a friend who refused to even try to quit no matter what any body said her baby was 4pds and 3 oz and has some health issues, i quit in my first month and my baby was born 9 pds 1 ounce no problems so maybe that will help alittle talk to your doc if your really having trouble and maybe he can suggest something quitting is really hard but you can do it at least your going in the right direction buy tring to quit so good luck

If you are in the morning sickness part sometimes it's really easy to just stop because the smell makes you sick. I'd talk to your doctor though and see what is safe for you to use to help you quit smoking.

unless you want your child to BARK like a dog for the next 18 years, driving you up the wall, i would quit. my sister and mom fought all the time over my mom smoking when she was preggers with my sis, she has terrible asthma.
Mom: shut up with the coughing
Sis: ITS YOUR FAULT.
repeat 879 times a day.
sounds like fun!!

I just lost my friend and partner and soul-mate of 25 yrs. to cancer. IT was a horrible thing
to watch someone die that way. Now think are old your children will be if this nasty habit would take you from them and your husband.
