what do you like more, country (shania twain, faith hill, keith urben,ect.) or pop ( hannah montana, hillary duff, aly&aj, raven simone,ect.) music and why???

Country. Because when you get in your 30's alot of the songs make sense and hit you hard.
As a teen, I liked Heavy Metal!!!

From the list I would say neither. When I think of Country music, I think of Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard, Hank Williams and Willie Nelson. Your "country list" sounds more like pop than country. "Pop music would be real artists, not "manufactured" like Prince, Michael Jackson (pre-surgery), Madonna and Phil Collins. But that's just my opinion coming from a former disc jockey.

If I had to pick a favorite genre of music I would say good old hardcore rock and roll FOREVER. But I like a little bit of everything. My CD collection is ridiculous. Out of the choices you just gave, I would have to pick country. I really don't like much of any kind of pop music at all. Maybe the occasional song but that's about it.

I truly like pop music better. But the artists that you listed for Country are very talented artists. I love Faith Hill. She is amazing.

pop no hands down! country is the only music i really cant stand..and pop is one of the types i listen to alot. some of that mainstream stuff is crap but some are actually fun to listen to.
out of what you listed i dont like any of em except for Aly & AJ. they ROCK! theyre my fav. duo.
