If she has a license in another country and she was here LEGALLY she could simply apply.

Have her leave the country and come back legally.

State licensing rules are being toughened up because fraudulently obtained driver's licenses were used by 9.11 terrorists.

By the way, she isn't "undocumented", she is here illegally. If you want a long-term relationship with her have her get this straightened out ASAP.

There are very few states in the country that allow undocumented aliens to receive driver's licenses. My guess is that an undocumented person cannot get a license in Texas.

Here's what the Texas DMV website requires:
First-time License (Texas Resident Over 18)

Be 18 or over (if not, see the requirements for teen drivers).
Provide proof of identity.
Provide proof of Social Security number.
Provide proof of Texas vehicle registration and liability insurance, if you own a vehicle.
Complete required application forms available at any Texas driver license office.
Pay the required fee.
Pass the written, driving, and vision examinations. The applicant must provide the vehicle for the driving test.
Your application must include a photograph and thumbprint. Vain? You may want to rehearse for your photo opp.

(Note, you must provide a social security number and proof of identity. This would probably be a bar for your girlfriend.)

Usually you need a birth certificate, pay stub, school transcript or some other form of paperwork that establishes your identity. Its really not that difficult to get a driver's license when proof of identity is involved. On the other hand, if you get caught with a drivers license that has false information, i.e. if you were born to Jack and Sara Jones and your parents named you "Mary" and you are living life as "Mary Jones" but you apply for a driver's license as "Barbara White" there are stiff penalties if you get caught.

Overall if you have lived in a particular area most of your life, there are enough things that would establish that you are who you say you are.

First she's not 'undocumented' she's a CRIMINAL who is in our country ILLEGALLY.

She has no right to be here, and certainly doesn't have citizen's rights, like the right to drive. Your post needs to be reported to the INS for action. Yahoo! should be able to tell them from their logs where you are.
