are many of you guilty of positive Descrimination? like do you treat one group of people better than others?
or maybe your nervous of being branded rasist, so you might go the other way and treat one race better than others?
and do you have any examples / SHORT stories? maybe if a pretty girl cuts you up in your car, you just smile and wave, where normaly you'd shout and swear or pip your horn?

10 points for the story / example i like best, that i dont fall asleep to.. lol

Yes i will put my hands up and admit that if a pretty girl cuts me up i do tend to smile about it ,sad i know. It's not as if shes going to be so grateful that she gives me her phone number.
I guess that makes me as deep as an ashtray,or maybe just male.

On another tack,i have a black friend staying and we were talking about what we had read lately. She said " I'm reading mostly black authors at the moment".I wonder what she would have said if i had said i was reading white authors at the moment.

I go about my day trying to smile and say, "Hello," to lots of people. I probably try a little harder with African Americans - I guess I probably do that because I'd like to present a positive caucasian model, rather than thinking that I don't want them to think I'm racist. Both sides have a lot of work to do with regard to perception and behavior. I do what little I can.

I get fed up with all this political correctness and discrimination stuff. I just try to treat people how i myself would like to be treated. If that don,t work well i give up. It,s been o.k. with this logic so far.

I don't discriminate anyone but prefer being with whites, Europeans, and North Americans. I don't socialise with Asians, Blacks. That is not discrimination. This is just a personal favour.

there is no such thing as possitive discrimination. You either are or your not. Once my step-moms ex falsly accused her of many things that she never did(because he's a butt) and the DHS said the only reason they listened was because they didn't want to be racist to him and in doing so they were racist to her.

a black kid smacked my on my bottom and i just bit my lip really hard and froze, i totally didn't know what to do. I was afraid he would call me racist if i said anything.

I tend to favour Asian women as girlfriends. Don't know if that counts.
