Make your home comfortable for you. Get up, do what you need to do, eat, sleep, live and go to bed. Small steps at first. Very painful if you are ending a relationship but in time it will better. Don't focus on being alone, focus on your future and all the goods things yet to come.

How about you explain more about your situation.
I had to learn to live alone after divorce. You get busy doing for other people and not being so wrapped up in your own pain and fears. While your centered on others and their needs, eventually you begin to feel ok about your own situation because you have created a full happy life for yourself. Which in the end will attract people to you. Then you have to decide if you want to remain alone or let others back into your life.

Just try to live alone. Do many things alone and keep busy with your friends, your works, your school and your hobbies. Don't think many things those can make you crazy.

"Iyamacog" point is well taken. However, it is still nice to sacrifice some independence to have a companion of the opposite sex whom you can love.
