Blower just stopped while in use at level II. Levels III and IV still operate. Level 1 stopped a year or so ago. Anyone know whether this is simple to fix.

1. I'd say it is your switch rather than your blower. The switch just changes the resistance in the windings to either run faster or slower.
2. Heater core and blower motor is not connected in anyway what so ever.
3. If you have a maintenance manual you can jump the connections on the back of the blower switch, to see if all the speeds are working on your blower motor. Having the Ground and power wires figured out etc... jump the different speed settings to know if your blower is working on all speeds.
4. The blower motor has more resistance in the coil windings at lower RPM's. If it stopped at level one a year ago, maybe the motor is going out. A simple way to test this would be to turn it ( or jump it) on high first, and then back down to low. It should still work, that is unless your switch is bad, which sounds like to me that is your problem.

I'd suggest a new switch from an auto parts store or even the dealer, OEM parts are sometimes on hand at the dealer and you don't have to wait for the auto parts store to ship them in. If

This is nothing to do with a 'heating coil'. Sounds to me like the resistors that control your fan have died, or the switch itself.
