I used to make a huge production out of it! Get out all the ribbons and wrappings and make the best wrapped gift! But, now that I have small, snoopy children, we tend to wait until the last minute (after Midnight Mass!), hurriedly wrap them or put them into bags, then off to bed. I kick myself every year for waiting so long and for the sad sight of the presents (really, they don't look that bad, but they're not the beauties of my single days!), but the kids don't care about the outside anyway. And then the next Christmas rolls around, and it's the same thing all over again. At least my husband helps to wrap (his usually consists of bags that I put a few more sheets of tissue paper into to help 'foo-foo' it up a bit). Oh, for the day when I can have a tree surrounded by beautiful, matching gifts again! ~ Who am I kidding?!?! I wouldn't have it any other way!

I like to have all my gifts wrapped before I put my Christmas tree up. That way you can place them where they look best. My tree goes up the day after Thanksgiving. I am an early shopper. I wait until I have most of my gifts and then wrap and tag them. I wrap any others as I get them. After my tree and all my decorations are up I bring my wrapped gifts in and put on bows and decorate the packages as I put them under the tree. Merry Christmas!!!

When I used to actually go out to shop, I used to wrap as I got them home, little by little. Now that I am an old single guy, I find that Gift Cards are one of my best friends. Also, for the little kids, a cash envelope works too. But I do still wrap something special for..someone special. (hope that happens soon again..lolz)

Because I love to wrap presents, I have a large amount of stuff to get out to do it, so I wait untill I have a few presents and then wrap them all at once, put everything up and wait to get it out again until I have a few more to do at a time. Hope this helps.

It depends, I wrap the presents that I have purchased all at one time, then as I get more I wrap them as I go.

I love the Christmas season, but not fond of wrapping gifts. I usually give that job to my 3 daughters - they enjoy it.

My daughter does all my shopping and wrapping for me. I just fork over the cash and she takes it from there. What a little angel!
