Not all liberals claim that 911 was a conspiracy by the government. You are referring instead to the lunatic fringe and the chronically misinformed. I doubt if all the conspiracy theorists would even be considered liberals for that matter. No matter. The reason why that will never happen is because Bush was not president when the Cole was bombed, Clinton was and they will never speak ill of Saint Bill.

Soon after his inauguration, Bush quietly ended the Cole investigation and withdrew the team of over 100 FBI and JTTF (Joint Terrorism Task Force) agents that Clinton had sent to Yemen to investigate the Cole bombing. Maybe not a conspiracy, but clearly evidence that Bush is motivated by politics and not by what is best for America and Americans.
